| Round VIII |
| In my first full OHL season I played for 4 different OHL teams, the next season, my last season in the OHL I was traded to the Rangers where I became a star forward. Who am I? |
| Answer: |
| Mike
Morrison
Mike Morrison
had one of the most awkward careers of all players in the OHL. He
played in only 5 games prior to his final year of eligability. He
split his 19th year between Kingston, Sudbury, and Hamilton before finally
finding a more perminent home in Belleville scoring 23 goals and 23 assists
in his final 36 games of the season. Next season, he was an overager,
and the unlikely happened again. The Rangers had their star winger
Shawn Burr return, his linemates Ron Sanko (acquired from North Bay) and
Mike Morrison (acquired from Belleville) a pair of overagers were united
on his line to create a big line of forwards and to this day they remain
the last line assembled in Rangers' history to have all three members eclipse
the 100-point plateau in the same season. Unfortunately this did
not result in anything but an very abreviated playoff run. This was
back in 1985-'86.
