Ryan Pepperall was taken in the first round of the 1994 Entry draft, Pepperall spent most of his career on the Rangers' top unit with Rob DeCiantes, he was rookie of the year after his first season with the Rangers.  He was also named team captain midway through the 1995-'96 campaign after the team traded Brian Scott who was wearing the 'C' at the time.
