Duco and Scott Tregunna scored during the first period where the Rangers
outshot the Storm 16-9, and Kitchener made the lead hold, though the final

Azevedo was first star for the third straight game in a row. Both
teams went one for six on the power play, but the difference was that the
Rangers scored 5 goals even strength. Steve Mason only faced 16 shots
in the dominating victory, improving Kitchener's record to 7-1 against
the Otters this season. Nazem Kadri and Mikkel Boedker both had a

The
Rangers have encountered the Whalers in 3 of the last 5 postseasons.
Playing them in the 3rd, 1st and now 2nd round. This will be the
first time in more than 10 years, that the Whalers will enjoy home advantage
in a best-of-seven series. The last time being in 1996. Injuries
to overages: Peter Tsmikalis and Victor Oreskovich promise to play a big

 Nick
Spaling scored a couple of early goals against the Otters, but they required
a late goal to snap a 3-3 stalemate. Mike Mascioli supplied that
goal late in regulation. Jaroslav Janus had another extremely strong
start in the Otters' goal, making things very interesting in a game that
appeared to be a mismatch going in. Justin Azevedo continued to add
